OUR
MISSION
The purpose of the John Wareing Foundation is to strengthen our community and support our youth. The Hampton Roads area has been a resourceful environment for generations of the Wareing Family. The John Wareing Foundation is a platform to give back to our community. Our aim is to implement a culture that values seeing potential in others, self-growth, and giving back to help less advantaged individuals achieve success in life.

We believe inspiring change in the world happens first at a local level.
By bringing people together using the vehicle of fitness the
John Wareing Foundation collectively raised $11,517.46 to
support local charitable organizations.
In 2019, here are the Impacts that we have made:
Seal Kids: $1,961.46
Fly High Athletics: $1,191.00
VB tragedy Fund: $1,275.00
Food Bank of Southeastern VA: $2,217.00
VB Strong Fund: $2,935.00
Stop Abuse Inc.: $446.00
VB Police Foundation: $1,492.00

Community Outreach
We have visited over 45 different schools in the Hampton Roads area. Through these efforts we have inspired over 10,000 kids between the ages 5 -18 years old.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve stepped outside of our physical walls and have begun a program of doing speaking engagements at local schools to spread our message to the youth of our city. Through these community outreach ventures, we’ve had the fortune to meet countless young people who need and deserve an opportunity to reach their potential- young people who have the potential to improve, but may not have the financial ability needed to supplement such a program.
It is our firm belief that one’s ability to pay should not be the limiting factor when considering someone’s personal growth. These young people deserve the opportunity to be a part of the future of this community and we are committed to help them reach their potential, not just for today, but for years to come.
